Professional Level services
On-site pathologist training for IHC and FISH: AP’s expert pathologist will conduct one-on-one or small group practical slide interpretation sessions with your pathologists to review the typical expression patterns of the most valuable IHC or FISH markers used in anatomic pathology. The curriculum for these sessions typically includes the positive and negative staining patterns of each antibody or probe to be used in your laboratory, a review of the diagnostic pitfalls associated with the molecular anatomic pathology techniques, and the design of IHC marker panels using an algorithmic approach to the work-up of most differential diagnostic situations in surgical pathology. To ensure the optimal use of these methods in your laboratory, we will review surgical pathology cases from your department’s files, and use these cases to train your staff to avoid under- or over-utilization of these methods in order to maximize cost-effectiveness in your laboratory.
Rapid email and phone access: Imagine having a pathologist with IHC and FISH expertise permanently on call to assist with your problem cases!
