9. Minimizing errors and liability:
Many lawsuits have occurred because of the inability of a pathologist to identify immunostains with proper internal controls, or by the inability to identify false positive signals due to endogenous biotin, background antibody binding, or other factors. AP’s pathologists will work closely with your pathologists to impart the knowledge required to avoid these and other potential pitfalls in diagnostic IHC and FISH testing.
