This is one of the most important aspects of reducing costs at your institution. Well-trained technologists should be able to make their own buffer solutions, properly calculate and perform correct antibody dilutions, and minimize the use of valuable control tissues and reagents during the antibody validation process. Proper training in IHC and FISH testing techniques will also significantly reduce the cost of repeat/failed procedures due to human factors.
